The Highland Group, a leading real estate development and commercial construction firm, has successfully finished the Atmore Conference and Education Center project at Coastal Alabama Community College. This impressive 12,000 sq. ft. one-story facility features a grand entrance lobby, a sizable meeting area, three instructional rooms, a cutting-edge biology/physics classroom, and plenty of parking for campus visitors. The center, situated in downtown Atmore, is set to become a key location for educational events, nursing programs, and community gatherings.
Ryan Long, Highland Group’s Vice President of the AL and FL Gulf Coast Markets, expressed his enthusiasm for the project by saying, “It’s always nice to work with our local community college systems and universities. These are the institutions that are going to empower and shape the next generation of leaders within our communities and it’s important to assist them in building this future whenever we can.”
More than $4 million has been invested in the Atmore Conference and Education Center for Coastal Alabama Community College. The Highland Group has supported various Alabama college systems and institutions through its construction projects in recent years and is expected to continue helping these higher learning centers expand and improve their facilities for students.
