The Highland Group, a prominent real estate development and commercial construction firm, is delighted to announce the completion of a state-of-the-art fitness center for the tenants of Redstone Gateway. The company was approached by Redstone’s developers, Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) and Jim Wilson & Associates (JWA), late last year to build this new facility. The fitness center is situated within COPT’s RG6200 office building, a six-floor, 45,000 square foot Class A office space with over 6,500 rentable square feet.
The finished fitness center features a spacious locker room, shower area, modern restroom facilities, and top-of-the-line workout equipment. Employees and business owners will have access to this new amenity, which complements the other tenant-friendly facilities at Redstone Gateway, such as family-friendly restaurants, a coffee shop, walking paths, daycare, and hotels. Throughout the construction process, The Highland Group collaborated closely with Nola VanPeursem, the lead architecture firm on the project, which has been a longstanding practice in Huntsville since 1953.
