The Highland Group is hard at work on the new 60,000 square foot campus currently being built in Brewton, Alabama, that will serve as the flagship facility for technology giant ProValus. ProValus was created to provide an alternative to overseas outsourcing of business functions and is owned by Atlanta-based Optomi, one of the nation’s fastest-growing tech-staff firms.
This construction project is a Public-Private Partnership between the City of Brewton and ProValus. ProValus is investing $6.5 million to open their new flagship facility that will offer business process outsourcing (BPO), information technology outsourcing (ITO), and Helpdesk services to clients, including Fortune 500 companies.
The Highland Group is leading the project as general contractor.
“The project is about 50% complete, and it’s coming along great,” said Scott Shamburger, President and CEO at The Highland Group.” I applaud Governor Ivey and Mayor Lovelace for their vision and leadership to bring the tech market and hundreds of jobs to the citizens of Brewton, AL.”
Once completed, the ProValus facility will house hundreds of newly trained individuals hired from the local community in a modern space that features secure rooms, key card access, inviting break areas, an outdoor courtyard, and more.
ProValus is elevating high-potential rural communities by creating technology, business, and support careers for undiscovered talent in the United States. For more information, visit www.provalus.com.
