September 12, 2024 (Gulf Shores, AL) – The Highland Group is proud to announce its selection as the general contractor for Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, a popular Denver-based restaurant, as it expands into the Southeast. The first of three planned locations will be situated in Gulf Shores, Alabama, located across the expressway from the future home of Gulf Shores High School and before the bridge to the island.
Known for its specialty hot dogs and strong following in Colorado, Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs currently boasts several locations across Denver, including one near Coors Field. The expansion marks the company’s entry into a new region, with additional locations planned for Orange Beach and another undisclosed spot in Baldwin County.
The 2,400-square-foot restaurant, located at 6915-M Foley Express, Gulf Shores, AL., is a new construction project that includes site work and landscaping. Known for its commitment to excellence and efficiency, The Highland Group has already begun work. As the selected contractor for the multi-site buildout of Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, The Highland Group is leveraging its expertise to expedite the construction process. By managing all locations under a single trusted contractor, the project benefits from streamlined timelines and consistent quality across each site.

Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs was born from founder Bill Feid’s lifelong love of the hot dog. Growing up in Chicago, hot dogs were a cherished pre-Thanksgiving meal tradition in the Feid household.
