September 4, 2024 (Panama City Beach, FL) – The Highland Group, a leading real estate and commercial construction firm, is proud to announce that Tarjani Christian, Project Manager at The Highland Group, has been selected for the Leadership Bay Class of 2024-2025. The Leadership Bay Program is an initiative of The Bay County Chamber of Commerce, with a mission to cultivate leaders who are well-informed and prepared to assume leadership roles in their communities, fostering positive change. This program aligns seamlessly with The Highland Group’s commitment to nurturing the growth and development of its employees, empowering them to become leaders within both the company and their communities.

Tarjani and her classmates will begin their Leadership Bay journey with a two-day retreat, designed to provide an orientation to the program and foundational leadership training seminars. These sessions will be conducted by the Bay County Chamber of Commerce and Gulf Coast State College. As part of the program, the class will also undertake a group project, conceived, planned, and executed entirely by the class as a team that benefits the business community of Bay County.
Throughout the program, participants will engage in tours and presentations that highlight various facets of Bay County’s business and civic infrastructure, including the Chamber of Commerce, tourism, healthcare, local and state government, law enforcement, transportation, industry, economic development, military, education, culture, growth management, ecology, media, community volunteerism, and more.
