August 23, 2024 (Madison, AL. / Spanish Fort, AL.) —The Highland Group proudly announces the completion of two new Longleaf Recovery & Wellness facilities in Madison and Spanish Fort, Alabama. This expansive, multi-site project significantly enhances treatment options for individuals in northern and southern Alabama, who suffer from primary substance use and co-occurring disorders.
The Longleaf Recovery Baldwin facility in Spanish Fort recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a milestone in its third location within the state. These amenities create a comfortable and supportive environment for individuals seeking recovery and mental health services.
Similarly, the 7,352-square-foot Longleaf Recovery Huntsville facility in Madison mirrors the Baldwin facility’s comprehensive design and services.
“This multi-site project has enabled Longleaf Recovery & Wellness to extend its reach across Alabama, helping individuals throughout the state access crucial mental health and substance-use treatment services,” said Scott Shamburger, President and CEO for The Highland Group. “We are honored to have partnered with Longleaf Recovery and our design and development partners to bring these vital projects to life.”
