The Highland Group is Building a New Facility for T2S Solutions in Huntsville, Alabama

November 2, 2022 (Foley, AL) – The Highland Group, a leading real estate development and commercial construction firm, has been selected by T2S Solutions to provide them with a new state-of-the-art office facility in Huntsville Alabama’s Redstone Gateway development. T2S Solutions is an innovative, pure-play defense contractor focused on designing, prototyping, integrating, and fielding MDO/LSCO capabilities for the Department of Defense in coordination with the Intelligence Community. T2S’s office space will be located at 8000 Rideout Road within Redstone Gateway. Their workforce includes prior military and civilian service personnel who continue to serve by applying their experience and analytical skills to solve some of the most complex and urgent strategic and tactical Department of Defense and Intelligence Community needs.

Redstone Gateway is a leasing development in Huntsville, housing a variety of innovative and cutting-edge tech companies currently leading their fields in defense, aerospace, and research & development. Some of the office spaces Redstone Gateway offers for lease include Class A offices, R&D spaces, retail storefronts, and hotel accommodations. The Highland Group’s Huntsville Team is currently underway on several projects within the Gateway and is excited to add another client in T2S Solutions.

The facility in Redstone Gateway was leased to T2S by the Corporate Office Properties Trust (“COPT”) as part of an ongoing effort to bring their tenant’s unmatched proximity and access to their federal customers at Redstone Arsenal. COPT specializes in creating workplaces that are perfectly suited for their corporate clientele. Often leasing out development projects from individual buildings to multi-building campuses that are fully customizable and built to ensure that their tenants are set up for success. COPT leases to an overwhelming majority of the country’s top 20 U.S. defense contractors among their tenants. Their office and data center facilities provide technically sophisticated, mission-critical environments in strategic locations across the United States.

“COPT has a great team, and we enjoy working with them,” said Highland’s VP of North Alabama, Michael Barnes. “I appreciate their continued confidence in our team, and we look forward to partnering with them again.”
