October 5, 2022 (Foley, AL) – The Highland Group, a real estate development and commercial construction firm, has been selected as the general contractor to lead an upcoming renovation project on the Alabama A&M University campus in Huntsville, Alabama. This project will include a varying degree of interior enhancements and structural renovations to their Animal Science Building.

AAMU’s Animal Science Building houses the university’s Department of Food & Animal Sciences. The department was established in 1969 and has a long tradition of graduating students who have successful careers. AAMU has achieved this, by following a student-centered approach with its faculty and staff who are committed to student success. This pursuit of academic excellence was a key driving factor in the university’s decision to contract Highland’s Huntsville office for the renovation of Animal Science Facilities.
